Born in Jiangsu, China (b.1918). He entered Hangzhou national college of art in 1935. He studied under Wu
Dayu, Fang Ganming, and Cai Weilian. He graduated in 1941 and stayed in school to teach art. He held his solo exhibition in Shanghai
Theater Academy and published his works in 2004.
